Installation paths for mawaroto on your device
We offer three ways to access mawaroto on mobile: Android native app (APK), iOS browser via PWA, and desktop web. Each has a distinct installation flow.
Our Android app is distributed as an APK (Android Package) file. To install, you download the file from our website, enable "Unknown Sources" in your device settings, then tap the APK to install. This grants the app permission to access your device's camera (for KYC ID verification), microphone (for support chat), location (to confirm you are in a permitted jurisdiction), and notification service.
- Visit our download page and tap "Download Android APK".
- A file named
mawaroto.apkappears in your Downloads folder. - Open Settings → Security → Unknown Sources and toggle on.
- Open your Downloads folder, tap the APK file, and confirm installation.
- Once installed, open the app, then register or log in with your mawaroto account.
First-time setup: When you open mawaroto for the first time, we ask for permission to send notifications (for match schedules, withdrawal updates). Grant these so you stay informed. We also ask for camera access for KYC verification — you'll take a selfie with your government ID during your first withdrawal request.
iOS users cannot install a native app because we do not list on the Apple App Store. Instead, we provide a progressive web app (PWA) that runs inside Safari or Chrome. A PWA looks and feels like a native app but is actually a web page optimized for offline use, notifications, and home-screen access. No separate download or "unknown sources" toggle needed.
- On your iPhone or iPad, open Safari (or Chrome).
- Visit mawaroto.id and log in with your account credentials.
- Tap the Share button (rectangle with an arrow), then select "Add to Home Screen".
- Name it "mawaroto" and tap Add. The app icon now appears on your home screen.
- Tap the icon to open mawaroto. It runs full-screen like a native app.
Notifications on iOS: When you add mawaroto to your home screen, Safari may ask if you want to allow notifications. Select "Allow" so you receive alerts about Piala AFF matches, withdrawal status, and account security. Your iPhone's notification centre will display these, just as with native apps.
Our desktop website (mawaroto.id) works on any computer with a modern browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge). No download required. You log in, and your session persists across page refreshes. Desktop is best for managing your account details, reviewing transaction history, and playing complex live-dealer games where a larger screen helps.
Desktop does not offer push notifications or offline cache, so we recommend installing the mobile app if you use mawaroto frequently on the go. However, desktop remains the most reliable way to update your password, manage KYC documents, or file a support ticket if you encounter app issues.

App vs browser — what you gain on mobile
The mawaroto Android app offers features that the browser version cannot. Our app uses offline-first architecture, meaning your recent account data (balance, transaction history, saved payment methods) is cached locally on your phone. If your internet drops for a moment, you can still view your last-known balance and browse game rules. Once connectivity returns, the app syncs silently in the background. Push notifications alert you to Liga 1 match kickoffs, Piala Indonesia draw updates, MotoGP race times, and withdrawal completions — you do not have to check the app constantly. The app also optimizes for Android's battery management, using less power than a constant browser tab. On iOS, our PWA offers similar benefits: offline cache, notifications, and a home-screen shortcut that skips the address bar.
Browser access (desktop or mobile) is best when you need a larger screen, prefer not to install software, or use a device that is not Android or iOS. You can log in to mawaroto.id on any computer or phone, and your account is always there. However, browser sessions do not persist notifications or offline data, so you rely on having an internet connection and checking the site manually.
Device compatibility and system requirements
Our Android app runs on any device with Android 7.0 or newer. This covers most phones and tablets released in the last six years. If your device is older than Android 7, you can still access mawaroto via the browser (mawaroto.id) on Wi-Fi. Our iOS PWA works on iPhone 6s and later (running iOS 12 or newer) and on iPad with iPadOS 12 or newer. Both Android and iOS versions require a stable internet connection (4G / 5G / Wi-Fi) for live-dealer gaming and sportsbook updates, though offline cache helps during mobile bankingef connectivity gaps.
Troubleshooting installation and permission issues
If your Android installation fails, check that "Unknown Sources" is enabled in Settings → Security → Install from Unknown Sources. Some devices hide this setting — search your device's settings app for "unknown sources" if you cannot find it. If the APK file does not download, try a different browser or request the download link again from our support chat. For iOS, if you cannot add mawaroto to your home screen, ensure you are using Safari version 14 or newer, and that notifications are enabled in Settings → Safari → Notifications. If the PWA does not load offline, clear your browser cache (Settings → Safari → Clear History and Website Data) and re-add the home-screen shortcut. Both platforms require you to grant camera permission for KYC verification (taking a photo of your ID and a selfie during your first withdrawal). Deny this permission, and you cannot withdraw funds.
Data usage, mobile security, and account protection
The mawaroto app encrypts all communication between your phone and our servers using 256-bit SSL (Secure Sockets Layer). This means your password, payment details, and gaming history are never sent in plain text over your mobile network. Our app also stores your session token (which identifies you as logged in) only in the app's secure storage area — it is not accessible to other apps on your phone. When you log out, we clear this token immediately. Your KYC documents (government ID and selfie) are encrypted before upload and stored on separate, access-restricted servers. We never share your personal data with third parties except where required by law (e.g., anti-money-laundering regulations) or to process your payments via local payment, online payment, e-wallet, mobile banking, local payment, online payment, or bank partners. Your password is hashed (one-way encrypted) so that even our staff cannot read it. If you forget your password, we send you a reset link via email — use this to create a new password. If you suspect your account has been compromised, contact our support team immediately and we can reset your password without verification, then review your account activity for unauthorized transactions.
Why use the mawaroto app instead of the web
Using our app makes account management faster and more reliable. You receive real-time notifications about Liga 1 kickoffs, Piala AFF draws, and MotoGP race times — no need to check manually. The offline cache means you can review your balance and recent transactions even if your internet stutters. Account login is simpler: you save your credentials securely in the app, and a single tap opens your session. Desktop web is better for detailed account settings, uploading KYC documents, or filing support tickets, but our mobile experience puts your sportsbook and casino games at your fingertips.
